2023 LANL Collaborative Research Program Award Announcement

2023 LANL Collaborative Program Award Announcement

Many strong proposals were submitted to the FY23 edition of The Texas A&M University System National Laboratories Office (NLO) Collaborative Research Program with Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). This multi-element program is designed to increase the number and depth of research collaborations that benefit the A&M System, LANL, and the individuals involved. Today we are announcing the results of two elements of this program.

  • Development Fellowships are designed for A&M System researchers who have the skills, knowledge, and interest to develop long-term collaborative ties with LANL researchers and have already identified one or more LANL collaborators who are willing and able to engage in collaborative research.
  • Research Projects are designed for A&M System researchers who have mature ties with LANL collaborator(s) and have identified research topics suitable for joint effort and joint funding from the NLO and LANL.

The following proposals were selected for funding through a review process that involved numerous technical experts from the A&M System and LANL. We are excited to see the increased funding commitments to our Texas A&M University System Faculty. The NLO and LANL are grateful to the many researchers who submitted proposals, and to the experts who provided the independent peer review that is essential to achieving excellence in programs such as these.
