With cyber, artificial intelligence and machine learning constantly changing, education is essential. Whether it be how to embrace AI in your current environment or programming at a high technical level, programs can be made available to assist.

Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (On Demand)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies such as virtual assistants and recommender systems have changed our daily lives. This course mainly introduces some fundamentals of AI and ML including their relationship, different types of data, training and testing, common types of learning techniques (supervised and unsupervised learning) and applications (regression, classification, and clustering). Students will understand the fundamentals of AI and ML and solve some simple regression, classification and clustering problems.

AI Strategy for Secure Environments- In Development (On Demand)

Participants will learn confidently evaluate, approve, and guide AI adoption within classified or high-security environments.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe what AI deployments look like in secure/air-gapped environments
  • Evaluate AI systems for security, compliance, and mission fit
  • Identify high-value use cases within nuclear security contexts
  • Make informed decisions about adopting AI technologies
  • Lead organizational adoption while managing risk

Flex AI in Business Program

Great business leaders don’t just understand artificial intelligence; they know how to thoughtfully apply it to create value, inspire innovation, and lead people through change. The Flex Online AI in Business program equips professionals with in-demand AI skills to prepare them for a future in business leadership utilizing AI and machine learning. You‘ll explore future-focused concepts, such as generative AI, business storytelling, machine learning, multimodal agents, and deep learning applications to harness the power of AI in the workplace.

Courses include:

AI/ML for Technical Managers and Leaders

Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence initiatives and programs in a business or organization; foundational concepts about Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models; how they conceptually work at a high level, and which categories of problems they apply to. This course is intended to achieve the following learning outcomes for students:

  • Fundamental knowledge of major types of machine learning and artificial intelligence models and algorithms, and the ability to assess which kinds of problems are suitable for given model types.
  • Practical understanding and application of the key processes and methods needed to successfully deliver on ML/AI initiatives from problem framing to assessing ML/AI performance.
  • Practical understanding and application of key concepts and approaches needed to establish systematic and successful value generation with ML/AI solutions and programs.
  • Knowledge of key elements needed to establish foundational infrastructure and software development processes and practices needed to deliver mature, industrial-grade ML/AI solutions at scale in the real world.
  • Insight into and progress towards developing positions on strategic issues at the wider organizational and societal levels of the impact ML and AI will have on human flourishing in order prepare leaders to guide their organizations through the evolving strategic changes.

Generative AI and Machine Learning for Enhancing Productivity in Engineering Design and Applications

1 or 2 day workshop for professional development- Generative AI (GenAI) and Machine Learning (ML) are revolutionizing engineering, shifting the focus from manual iteration to intelligent, data-driven design. This course explores practical AI tools and techniques for accelerating concept generation, optimizing simulations, sourcing various parts in a bill of material (BOM), and validating complex systems.

Fundamentals of Cybersecurity

This course introduces students to the introductory concepts and terminology of cybersecurity. This includes fundamental security principles and the historical cybersecurity attacks.
Students should gain familiarity with general security concepts and principles. They should understand the role of people in security and the best defenses against social engineering. Students should also understand the types of attacks on computer systems and networks and the auditing process.

AI/ML in Chip Verification

LLMs for Chip Verification and Security is an intensive, three-day, hands-on short course designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to apply Large Language Models (LLMs) to the domains of chip design, functional verification, and hardware security. Through a combination of lectures, live demos, and exercise-driven labs, participants will learn how LLMs can accelerate and enhance various aspects of the hardware design and validation pipeline—from Verilog generation and verification automation to vulnerability detection and secure design repair.
