U.S. Department of Energy Isotope Program’s Virtual Seminar Series

On the Horizon: Novel Isotopes and Future Leaders

U.S. Department of Energy Isotope ProgramAbstracts to present in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Isotope Program’s Virtual Seminar Series are now being accepted. This presentation opportunity will allow for junior scientists to showcase their research (completed or in-progress) results to various members of the isotope community, including DOE, federal national laboratory researchers and various institutes of higher education. If you are a student or postdoctoral researcher and would like to present a talk in this seminar series, please fill out the questions below, attaching an abstract of your proposed talk. Presentations are anticipated to be 15 minutes in duration with a short Q&A session to follow.

Two types of presentations being accepted:

  • Isotope Program only – Will be by invitation only and open to isotope practitioners from the national labs and universities supported by the DOE Isotope Program. These sessions are an attempt to maintain the proprietary nature of the work funded by the Isotope Program or other agencies. During these sessions there will be an understood acknowledgement that information shared does not leave the group of invitees.
  • Open Session – Will be a more conventional session and open for anyone who wishes to attend (including individuals from the private sector). All of the talks scheduled will be reviewed by the organizing committee to ensure that proprietary information is not included.
