Community College Internship (CCI)

  • Enrolled as a full-time student at a community college or accredited two-year college
  • Completed at least 6 credit hours in science, mathematics, engineering or technology course areas, and at least 12 credits hours towards a degree
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident

Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program

  • Enrolled full-time (above freshman level) or graduated within the past two years
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident

Visiting Faculty Program (VFP)

  • Must be invited to participate by the applying faculty member
  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in an area of science, mathematics, engineering or technology at the same university/college as the applying faculty member
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident

  • Upper division undergraduate students to first-year graduate students
  • Students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds
  • Variety of academic disciplines including computer science, aerospace/mechanical/nuclear/electrical/civil engineering and mathematics/statistics
  • Limited to U.S. citizens

Quantum Computing Summer School Fellowship

  • Upper division undergraduates to early graduate students from all STEM majors (physics, computer science, engineering, math, chemistry, etc.)
  • Familiarity with quantum mechanics and/or linear algebra, and have basic programming skills (e.g., in Python)
  • Not limited to U.S. citizens

Supercomputer Institute

  • Undergraduate and graduate students and recent graduates from all majors
  • Have computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related experience

Undergraduate Student Internship Program

  • Acceptance into an undergraduate program

  • If graduating with a degree before or during the appointment period, must provide proof of continuing education in an accredited degree-seeking program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Pathways to Computing Internship Program (PCIP)

  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a degree-seeking program at a regionally accredited U.S. college or university at time of application
  • Have completed at least one year as a matriculated undergraduate student at the time of applying
